Transforming Mental Wellness
Hey Sadé Therapy, PLLC was created with the primary goal of breaking the stigma of mental health by empowering teens and young adults in the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous & People of Color) community to reclaim their peace.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) providing services in New York. I received my M.A and Ed.M in Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Bilingual Latina/o Mental Health, from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2018. I have an eclectic practice, using an array of evidence-based practices to tailor the healing space to client needs. I’m also a dancer at heart, so I naturally bring in elements of body awareness to promote physical, mental and spiritual wellness within the healing journey.
To promote equity and accessibility of mental health awareness, I founded the Instagram account @HeySade.Therapy. This has now grown into providing community consultation services, mental wellness workshops and individual private sessions back to my community.
